Synopsis
Discourse and appreciation of Maqasid Al-Shariah did not mean anything for men on the street. Issues such as the environment, social justice, governance, humanity values, life dignity and corruption, fiduciary duty, integrity, sustainability, food security, and clean water are the new manifestations of Maqasid Al-Shariah, i.e by blending the old device of Maqasid Al-Shariah with the new hard data of life. This has been made clear, visible, and tangible (as well as easy) via big data analytics and artificial intelligence (A.I.). The time has come to make Shariah digitalized and data-driven. This may become Shariah's last bastion to restore its prominence and credentials, amidst secularism prevailing almost everything in life.
